Evan Hunt is the Chief Revenue Officer at High Point Aerotechnologies.  Before joining High Point, Hunt was the Strategy and Business Development Director of the global High Energy Laser and Counter-drone campaign at Raytheon for nearly 6 years.  In this role, be built extensive relationships and expertise in the directed energy and counter drone communities. 

Before that, Hunt was the Director of business development at Coherent-Nufern, one of the two primary suppliers of fiber-lasers for defense applications. He has a wide range of operational and planning expertise in the aerospace and defense industry.

Hunt is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Air Force.  He began his career serving the U.S. Air Force as a B-1 Bomber weapon systems & electronic warfare officer. After supporting multiple combat deployments in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. He then had the opportunity to teach at the premier military aviation exercise - Red Flag - as an Instructor air defense aggressor at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. 

In 2010, Hunt transitioned to the Connecticut Air National Guard as the full-time chief of combat plans, 103d Air Operations Group. He deployed again as the master air attack plans cell chief in support of operation NEW DAWN. In 2012, Hunt assumed command of the 103d Maintenance Squadron, leading the base’s conversion from C-21 to C-130H aircraft.  His last assignment was as deputy group commander of the 146th Maintenance Group at Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, California. 

Throughout his military career, Hunt deployed multiple times, in multiple roles, in support of world-wide contingency operations. Hunt holds a B.A from the University of Pennsylvania (2002) and an M.A. from American Public University (2008).
