Davey Gibian serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of High Point Aerotech. In this capacity he leads the company’s product development, technology innovation, and strategic direction to define the state-of-the-art for autonomous defense.
Prior, Gibian held executive roles within national security and technology. Gibian was the President of Janes Group US, transforming the world’s leading open source intelligence organization into a machine-augmented data company. Gibian co-founded two VC-backed software companies, CalypsoAI and OMG, and scaled these organizations to successful exits. Gibian also led US Government teams at Palantir Technologies.
He has extensive experience working with the US intelligence community, US Department of Defense, and national security organizations globally. In government service, Gibian led data, AI/ML, and security programs for the US Department of Defense and intelligence community, including a tour with the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). Gibian is a US Air Force veteran.
Gibian is an expert in counter-AI and served as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow for Artificial Intelligence. He is the author of Hacking AI and holds multiple patents in the field. Gibian is a graduate of Columbia University.
